QUICK LESSONS:
Give charity generously with faith in God's promises.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith encourages Muslims to give charity, or zakat, as an act of worship. It reminds us that when we give charity, we should not forget the reward that Allah has promised us for doing so. We should also ask Allah to make our charity a gain and not a loss for us. By giving zakat, we are showing our faith in Allah and His promise that He will reward those who do good deeds. We can also be sure that whatever amount of money we spend on charity is never wasted; rather it is an investment in our hereafter which will bring great rewards from Allah Almighty.
