Rewarding Refraining from Sin

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught that those who observe Itikaf will be rewarded for refraining from sin, as if they had done all kinds of good deeds.

It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that: The Messenger of Allah said concerning the person observing I’tikaf".He is refraining from sin and he will be given a reward like that of one who does all kinds of good deeds".
