QUICK LESSONS:
Dedicate your time towards worshiping Allah ; Make use of your time wisely ; Strive for extra effort when needed ; Spend some quality alone-time reflecting spiritually .

EXPLANATIONS:
It was narrated from Ubayy bin Kab that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to spend the last ten days of the holy month of Ramadan in a practice called 'Itikaf'. This is when a person secludes themselves from worldly activities and devotes their time solely for worshiping Allah. One year, due to travelling, he spent twenty days instead. This hadith teaches us about the importance of dedicating time for spiritual reflection during this blessed month and how we should strive to make use of our time wisely. We can also learn that even if something unexpected happens or we are unable to do something as planned, we should still try our best and make up for it with extra effort.
