Sahih al-Bukhari 3249 (Book 59, Hadith 60) #3107
The Superiority of Paradise's Handkerchiefs

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was given a silken garment and he compared it to the handkerchiefs of Sa'd bin Mu'adh in Paradise, implying that the latter are better.

Narrated Al-Bara bin Azib: Allah's Messenger was given a silken garment, and its beauty and delicacy astonished the people. On that, Allah's Messenger said, "No doubt, the handkerchiefs of Sa'd bin Mu'adh in Paradise are better than this".

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the superiority of the handkerchiefs found in Paradise. It was narrated by Al-Bara bin Azib, who reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was given a silken garment and its beauty and delicacy astonished people. In response to this, Allah's Messenger said that no doubt, the handkerchiefs of Sa'd bin Mu'adh in Paradise are better than this. This implies that whatever is found in Paradise is far superior to anything we can find on Earth. It teaches us to strive for excellence and aim for higher goals as nothing on Earth can compare with what awaits us in Heaven if we do good deeds here on Earth. We should also remember that our ultimate goal should be attaining Jannah through righteous deeds so we can experience its beauty firsthand.
