According to this hadith, the Prophet Muhammad allowed women who were menstruating to make up for any missed fasts at a later time. This shows that the Prophet was compassionate and understanding of the physical needs of women and did not expect them to do something that would be difficult or impossible for them. He also showed respect for their religious obligations by allowing them to make up any missed fasts at a later time.
