Patience Rewarded in Loss

SUMMARY: The Prophet ﷺ taught that if a mother is patient and seeks reward for her loss, the miscarried fetus will drag her to Paradise.

It was narrated from Mu’adh bin Jabal that the Prophet said: "By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! The miscarried fetus will drag his mother by his umbilical cord to Paradise, if she (was patient and) sought reward (for her loss)".
