The Reward of Patience

SUMMARY: Allah rewards those who are patient and seek reward in times of difficulty.

It was narrated from Abu Umamah that the Prophet said: "Allah says: 'O son of Adam! If you are patient and seek reward at the moment of first shock, I will not approve of any reward for you less than Paradise.’"
حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتُ بْنُ عَجْلاَنَ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ـ ـ قَالَ: ‏ "‏ يَقُولُ اللَّهُ سُبْحَانَهُ: ابْنَ آدَمَ إِنْ صَبَرْتَ وَاحْتَسَبْتَ عِنْدَ الصَّدْمَةِ الأُولَى لَمْ أَرْضَ لَكَ ثَوَابًا دُونَ الْجَنَّةِ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the importance of patience and how it can be rewarded by Allah. It is narrated from Abu Umamah that the Prophet said, “Allah says, ‘O son of Adam! If you are patient and seek reward at the moment of first shock, I will not approve any reward for you less than Paradise.’” This hadith teaches us that if we remain patient during difficult times and strive to do good deeds, then Allah will grant us a great reward - Paradise. We should remember this when we face hardships in life so that we can stay strong and hopeful for a better future.
