Burial of the Slain of Uhud

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad commanded that the slain of Uhud should be buried in their clothes stained with blood.

It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that the Messenger of Allah commanded that the weapons and armor should be removed from the slain of Uhud, and they should be buried in their clothes stained with blood.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ ـ أَمَرَ بِقَتْلَى أُحُدٍ أَنْ يُنْزَعَ عَنْهُمُ الْحَدِيدُ وَالْجُلُودُ وَأَنْ يُدْفَنُوا فِي ثِيَابِهِمْ بِدِمَائِهِمْ

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad commanded that those who were killed in the Battle of Uhud should be buried in their clothes, which were stained with blood. This is a sign of respect for those who died and shows how much they are valued by Allah and His Messenger. It also serves as a reminder to us all to always remember our fallen heroes and never forget their sacrifices. Furthermore, it teaches us to always treat our dead with respect and dignity, no matter what circumstances they may have faced in life or death.
