Funeral Prayers for Martyrs

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) offered funeral prayers for the martyrs of the Battle of Uhud in groups of ten.

It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said: "They (the martyrs) were brought to the Messenger of Allah on the Day of Uhud, and he started to offer the funeral prayer for them, ten by ten. Hamzah lay where he lay, and they were taken away but he was left where he was".
