Funeral Prayer for Newborns and Inheritance Rights

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught that if a child makes any sound after being born, the funeral prayer should be offered for them and their relatives may inherit from them.

It was narrated from Jabir bin 'Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah said: "If a child utters a sound (after being born), the funeral prayer should be offered for him and (his relatives) may inherit from him".
حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ بَدْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ ـ ‏ "‏ إِذَا اسْتَهَلَّ الصَّبِيُّ صُلِّيَ عَلَيْهِ وَوُرِثَ
