Forgiveness Through Good Deeds

SUMMARY: Doing good deeds such as washing, shrouding, embalming and carrying a deceased person and not disclosing what one has seen will result in the forgiveness of sins.

It was narrated from 'Ali that the Messenger of Allah said: "Whoever washes a deceased person, shrouds him, embalms him, carries him and offers the funeral prayer for him, and does not disclose what he has seen, he will emerge from his sins as on the day his mother bore him".

Help with washing a deceased person; Shroud them; Embalm them; Carry them; Offer funeral prayer without disclosing what you have seen
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about how doing good deeds can lead to the forgiveness of sins. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that whoever washes a deceased person, shrouds him, embalms him, carries him and offers the funeral prayer for him without disclosing what he has seen will be forgiven for all his sins as if he were born anew. This hadith teaches us that we should do good deeds even when it comes to helping those who have passed away because it can lead to great rewards from Allah SWT. It also teaches us that we should not disclose any secrets or information about someone who has passed away out of respect for them and their families.
