This hadith tells us about death and what happens to our sight when we die. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) visited a deceased person named Abu Salamah and noticed that his eyes were open. He then closed them before saying that when the soul is taken away from our body at death, our sight follows it. This hadith teaches us to be respectful of those who have passed away by closing their eyes after they have died as this was done by the Prophet himself. It also reminds us of the importance of life after death as our souls will continue on even after we are gone from this world. We should strive to live in such a way that will ensure we are prepared for what comes next in the afterlife.
