The Reward of Praying Duha

SUMMARY: Praying Duha with twelve Rakah will be rewarded with a palace of gold in Paradise.

It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'Whoever prays Duha with twelve Rak’ah, Allah will build for him a palace of gold in Paradise.’"
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ ثُمَامَةَ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ ـ يَقُولُ ‏ "‏ مَنْ صَلَّى الضُّحَى ثِنْتَىْ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً بَنَى اللَّهُ لَهُ قَصْرًا مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ

This hadith is about the reward for praying the optional prayer known as ‘Duha’. It was narrated by Anas bin Malik that he heard the Prophet Muhammad say that whoever prays this prayer with twelve Rakah, Allah will build for him a palace of gold in Paradise. This shows us how important it is to pray optional prayers and how generous Allah is in rewarding us for our good deeds. We should strive to do as many good deeds as possible so we can receive these rewards from Allah and enter paradise.
