QUICK LESSONS:
Offer prayers regularly and value them highly

EXPLANATIONS:
On the day of the Conquest of Makkah, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) offered a voluntary prayer known as Duha. This is a special type of prayer that is offered in two sets, each set consisting four Rakahs. After every two Rakahs, he would say Salam and complete his prayer with eight Rakahs in total. This hadith shows us how important it was for the Prophet to offer this voluntary prayer and how much he valued it. It also teaches us that we should always strive to pray our obligatory prayers as well as any other voluntary prayers that we can offer throughout our day.
