Different Routes for Eid Prayers

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) used to go out and return from the Eid prayers via different routes.

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that he used to go out to the 'Eid prayers via one route, and return via another, and he said that the Messenger of Allah used to do that.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَكِيمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو قُتَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَخْرُجُ إِلَى الْعِيدِ فِي طَرِيقٍ وَيَرْجِعُ فِي أُخْرَى وَيَزْعُمُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ ـ كَانَ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ

The hadith narrated by Ibn 'Umar states that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) used to go out and return from the Eid prayers via different routes.
