Take physical steps or speak out against wrongdoing when possible

This hadith emphasizes the importance of speaking out against wrongdoings and taking action to change them. It was narrated by Abu Saeed that a man stood up during a sermon on Eid day and said that Marwan, the Commander of Believers, was going against the Sunnah by bringing out a pulpit before prayer. Abu Saeed then quoted Prophet Muhammad's saying "Whoever among you sees an evil action, and he is able to change it with his hand, then change it with his hand; if he cannot, do so with his tongue then with his tongue; and if he cannot then with his heart, and that is the weakest of faith." This hadith teaches us that we should take action when we see something wrong happening around us. We should speak up or take physical steps to stop it from happening if we can. If not possible, at least we should express our disapproval in our hearts as this is still considered as having faith in Allah's teachings.
