Signs of Allah - Solar & Lunar Eclipses

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) taught that the sun and moon eclipses are signs from Allah, and when they occur, one should offer prayer.

Narrated Abu Mas'ud: The Prophet said, "the sun and the moon do not eclipse because of the death or life of someone, but they are two signs amongst the Signs of Allah. So, if you see them, offer the Prayer (of eclipse).

QUICK LESSONS:
Offer prayer when witnessing a solar or lunar eclipse .

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Abu Mas'ud teaches us that solar and lunar eclipses are signs from Allah. They do not occur due to the death or life of someone but rather as a reminder for us to remember our Creator. When we witness these events, we should offer prayer in remembrance of Him. This hadith also reminds us that everything in this world is under the control of God Almighty and He is capable of doing anything He wills. We must always be mindful that all things happen according to His will and plan, even if it may seem strange or mysterious to us at times.
