Praying at Appropriate Times

SUMMARY: The Prophet ﷺ taught that there is no prayer after the 'Asr until the sun has set, and no prayer after the Fajr until the sun has risen.

It was narrated from Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri that the Prophet said: "There is no prayer after the 'Asr until the sun has set, and there is no prayer after the Fajr until the sun has risen".
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَعْلَى التَّيْمِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ قَزَعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ـ ـ قَالَ ‏ "‏ لاَ صَلاَةَ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ وَلاَ صَلاَةَ بَعْدَ الْفَجْرِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us that we should pray at appropriate times. The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) taught us that we should not pray after 'Asr until the sun sets and not to pray after Fajr until the sun rises.
