The hadith states that the Prophet Muhammad prescribed two Rakah of prayer when travelling. This means that Muslims should pray two units of prayer while they are on a journey. Additionally, the hadith also mentions that performing witr while travelling is sunnah. This means that it is recommended for Muslims to perform witr during their travels as well. Both these acts are important for Muslims to do in order to stay connected with Allah even when they are away from home or on a journey. It is important for them to remember Allah wherever they go and not forget Him in times of ease or difficulty.
