EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Ubayy bin Kab states that the Prophet Muhammad used to recite a special prayer called ‘Qunut’ before bowing down for the ‘Ruku’ during his ‘Witr’ prayer. This is an important part of Islamic worship and is done as an act of humility and submission to Allah. It also serves as a reminder for Muslims to be grateful for all the blessings they have received from Allah and ask Him for help in times of need. Additionally, it teaches us that we should always strive to be humble and obedient towards our Creator.

The Prophet Muhammad was known for his exemplary character and devotion towards Allah, so it is no surprise that he would take extra care when performing his prayers. He would often recite special supplications such as the ‘Qunut’ during his prayers which are still practiced today by many Muslims around the world. This hadith serves as a reminder for us all to strive towards being more devoted worshippers of Allah just like our beloved Prophet did throughout his life.
