EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the consequences of taking land unjustly. It was narrated by Muhammad bin Ibrahim bin Al-Harith from Abu Salama bin 'Abdur-Rahman who had a dispute with some people on a piece of land. He went to Aisha and she told him that Allah's Messenger said that anyone who takes even a span of land unjustly will have their neck encircled with it down seven earths. This means that if someone takes something without permission or in an unfair manner then they will be punished severely for it in this world and the hereafter. It teaches us to be honest and fair when dealing with others and not take advantage of them or take something without permission as this could lead to serious consequences for us in both worlds.
