Moderation in Sermons and Prayers

SUMMARY: The Prophet ﷺ used to deliver sermons and pray moderately, neither too long nor too short.

It was narrated that Jabir bin Samurah said: "The Prophet used to deliver the sermon standing, then he would sit down, then he would stand up and recite some Verses and remember Allah. His sermon was moderate, and his prayer was moderate (ie, neither too long nor too short)".
