Betrayal on the Day of Resurrection

SUMMARY: On the Day of Resurrection, every betrayer will be identified by a flag.

Narrated Anas: The Prophet said, ''Every betrayer will have a flag on the Day of Resurrection" One of the two sub-narrators said that the flag would be fixed, and the other said that it would be shown on the Day of Resurrection, so that the betrayer might be recognized by it.

QUICK LESSONS:
Keep your promises and commitments; Forgive those who have wronged you; Avoid betrayal.

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us that on the day when all people will be judged for their deeds, those who have betrayed others will be identified by a flag. This flag could either be fixed or shown in some way so that everyone can recognize them. This hadith teaches us to stay away from betrayal and to always keep our promises and commitments as it is an act that is not accepted in Islam. We should also strive to forgive those who have wronged us instead of seeking revenge or holding grudges against them.
