Obligation of Taking a Bath on Fridays

SUMMARY: It is obligatory for males who have reached the age of puberty to take a bath on Fridays.

It was narrated from Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri that the Messenger of Allah said: "Bath on Fridays is obligatory for every male who has reached the age of puberty".
حَدَّثَنَا سَهْلُ بْنُ أَبِي سَهْلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ ـ قَالَ ‏ "‏ غُسْلُ يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ وَاجِبٌ عَلَى كُلِّ مُحْتَلِمٍ
