QUICK LESSONS:
Follow Allah's commands even if you don't understand why they are given. Take care of your clothing before engaging in prayer so as not to soil it during prostration. Keep your hair and clothing loose when prostrating .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the etiquette of prostration. It was narrated by Ibn 'Abbas that the Prophet said he was commanded not to tuck up his hair or garment while prostrating. This means that when one is in a state of prostration, they should keep their hair and clothing loose and not draw them together as this would be disrespectful to the act of worship. It also implies that one should take care to ensure their clothing is clean before engaging in prayer so as not to soil it during prostration. Furthermore, it teaches us that we must always follow Allah's commands even if we do not understand why they are given.
