Follow the example of our beloved prophet whenever possible . Cleanliness . Piety . Obedience to Allah’s commands . Pray with one’s sandal on if they are clean and not made from leather or fur from an animal sacrificed for other than Allah’s sake .

This hadith is about a companion of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, named Aws. He used to pray and sometimes he would make a gesture while praying. His grandson noticed this and asked him why he was doing it. He said that he saw the Messenger of Allah performing prayer in his sandals. This shows us that it is permissible to pray with one's sandals on as long as they are clean and not made from leather or fur from an animal that has been sacrificed for other than Allah's sake. It also teaches us that we should follow the example of our beloved prophet whenever possible as it will bring us closer to Allah and increase our reward in Jannah insha'Allah!
