EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) teaches us that we should prioritize our needs and take care of them before attending to other matters. In this case, it was about eating before praying. It is important to note that this does not mean that we should neglect our prayers or put them off for later; rather, it means that if food is ready and the call for prayer has been made, then one should start with their meal first. This hadith also teaches us about good manners and etiquette; by starting with the food first, one can avoid any distractions during prayer time as well as show respect for both activities by giving each its due attention.
