EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us that if food is served and the call for prayer is given, we should start with the food. This hadith teaches us that it is important to prioritize our needs and take care of them before attending to other matters. We should not forget about our physical needs in order to attend religious obligations. It also teaches us that we should be mindful of our health and well-being as a priority in life. We must remember that Allah has created us with certain needs which must be taken care of before anything else. This hadith reminds us to take care of ourselves first so we can then attend to other matters such as prayer or any other religious obligations.
