It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Sami’ Allahu liman hamidah (Allah hears those who praise Him)," he said: "Rabbana wa lakal-hamd (O our Lord, to You is the praise)".
The values taught in this hadith are gratitude, humility, faithfulness and appreciation. We must remember that everything we have comes from God and it is important to express our thanks through prayer or other forms of worship such as reciting Quran verses or performing good deeds. Additionally, it reminds us not take anything for granted as all blessings come from God alone and He can take them away at any time if He wills it so.
