EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith talks about the importance of reciting during prayers. It was narrated by Abu Idris Al-Khawlani that a man asked Abu Darda whether he should recite when the Imam is reciting. Abu Darda then told him that a man asked Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) if there was recitation in every prayer and he said yes, and another man among them said it has become obligatory. This hadith shows us how important it is to recite during prayers as it has been made obligatory by Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). It also teaches us to always ask questions if we are unsure about something, as this man did when he asked Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
