The Reward of Attending Mosque in the Dark

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) encourages people to attend the mosque in the dark, as they will be rewarded with perfect light on the Day of Resurrection.

It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said: "The Messenger of Allah said: 'Give glad tidings to those who walk to the mosques in the dark, of perfect light on the Day of Resurrection'."
حَدَّثَنَا مَجْزَأَةُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ أَسِيدٍ، مَوْلَى ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الصَّائِغُ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ ـ ‏ "‏ بَشِّرِ الْمَشَّائِينَ فِي الظُّلَمِ إِلَى الْمَسَاجِدِ بِالنُّورِ التَّامِّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ
