Sunan Ibn Majah 770 (Book 4, Hadith 36) #30122
Praying in Sheep's Resting Places

SUMMARY: Prayer should not be performed in the resting places of camels, but rather in the resting places of sheep.

'Abdul-Malik bin Rabi' bin Sabrah bin Ma'bad Al-Juhani said: "My father told me, from his father that the Messenger of Allah said: 'Do not perform prayer in the camels' resting-places, and perform prayer in the sheep's resting-places'."

QUICK LESSONS:
Perform prayer in the sheep's restings place .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about where one should pray. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught that it is better to pray at a sheep’s resting place than a camel’s. This could be because camels are bigger animals and their resting places may be more crowded or uncomfortable for people to pray at, while sheep’s resting places are usually more spacious and comfortable for people to pray at. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ also taught us that we should always strive to make our prayers as comfortable as possible so that we can focus on worshipping Allah SWT without any distractions or discomfort. Therefore, this hadith teaches us an important lesson about how we should conduct our prayers with respect and comfortability so that we can truly benefit from them spiritually.
