Sunan Ibn Majah 769 (Book 4, Hadith 35) #30121
Praying in the Resting-Places of Camels

SUMMARY: Prayer should not be performed in the resting-places of camels, as they were created from devils.

It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin Mughaffal Al-Muzani said: "The Prophet said: 'Perform prayer in the sheep's resting-places and do not perform prayer in the camels' resting-places, for they were created from the devils".

QUICK LESSONS:
Perform prayer in sheep's resting-places
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about performing prayer and where it should be done. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us that we should perform our prayers in the sheep's resting places and not in the camels' resting places. This is because camels were created from devils, so it would not be appropriate to pray there. We can learn from this hadith that we must always choose a place to pray that is respectful and appropriate for worshiping Allah SWT. We must also remember to stay away from places associated with evil or bad behavior, as these are not suitable for praying or worshipping Allah SWT.
