Lighting Up the Mosque

SUMMARY: The hadith is about the first person to put lamps in a mosque.

It was narrated that Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri said: "The first person who put lamps in the mosque was Tamim Ad-Dari".
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ إِيَاسٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حَاطِبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، قَالَ أَوَّلُ مَنْ أَسْرَجَ فِي الْمَسَاجِدِ تَمِيمٌ الدَّارِيُّ
