The hadith narrated by Humaid and Anas bin Malik speaks about the importance of remaining in a state of prayer. It is reported that one night, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) delayed the Isha prayer until almost midnight. After he prayed, he turned to face his companions and said “The people have prayed and gone to sleep, but you will still be in a state of prayer so long as you are waiting for the next prayer”. This statement emphasizes that even after performing salat, it is important for Muslims to remain mindful and conscious about their faith by staying connected with Allah through prayers. Furthermore, Anas bin Malik also mentioned that he could see sparkles from Prophet Muhammad’s ring which further highlights how devoted he was towards his faith even during late hours at night. This hadith serves as an example for all Muslims on how they should strive to stay connected with Allah through prayers no matter what time it is or what situation they are facing.
