The Consequences of Missing 'Asr Prayer

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) warned against missing the 'Asr prayer, as it is like being deprived of one's family and wealth.

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that: The Messenger of Allah said: "The one who misses the 'Asr prayer, it is as if he has been cheated out of his family and wealth".
حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، ‏.‏ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ ـ قَالَ ‏ "‏ إِنَّ الَّذِي تَفُوتُهُ صَلاَةُ الْعَصْرِ فَكَأَنَّمَا وُتِرَ أَهْلُهُ وَمَالُهُ

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught us that we should never miss the 'Asr prayer, which is one of the five obligatory prayers in Islam. He said that if someone misses this prayer, it is as if they have been deprived of their family and wealth. This hadith emphasizes how important it is to fulfill our obligations to Allah and not neglect any part of our faith.
