Be mindful of your actions as they can have an effect on your children even before they are born!

This hadith explains how children can resemble their parents. Umm Sulaim asked Prophet Muhammad about a woman who sees something in her dream like what a man sees. The Prophet said if she has a discharge then she should take a bath. Umm Salamah asked if this really happens and the Prophet confirmed it does happen. He explained that the water of men is thick and white while women's water is thin and yellow. Whichever comes first or predominates, then the child will resemble that parent more closely than the other one. This hadith teaches us to be mindful of our actions as they can have an effect on our children even before they are born! It also shows us how Allah has created everything with wisdom and purpose, as even something seemingly small like discharge can have an effect on our lives in ways we may not expect!
