Visiting Wives with One Bath

SUMMARY: The Prophet used to take one bath and visit all of his wives.

It was narrated from Anas that: The Prophet used to go round to all his wives with one bath.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى أَبُو مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، وَأَبُو أَحْمَدَ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ ـ كَانَ يَطُوفُ عَلَى نِسَائِهِ فِي غُسْلٍ وَاحِدٍ

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad was known for his exemplary character and behavior. He was a role model for all Muslims, especially in the way he treated his wives. This hadith tells us that the Prophet would take one bath and then visit all of his wives in turn. This shows us that he was considerate of their feelings, as well as being mindful of conserving water resources. It also teaches us to be respectful towards our spouses, even if we have more than one wife or husband. We should treat them equally and not show favoritism towards any particular spouse over another.
