Maintain personal hygiene, strive for spiritual purity through prayer and good deeds .

This hadith highlights the importance of cleanliness and purity in Islam. It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that a man asked him how much water should be poured over his head when he is sexually impure. He replied that the Messenger of Allah used to pour three handfuls of water over his head. The man then said that his hair was long, to which Abu Hurairah replied that the Messenger of Allah had more hair than him yet he was cleaner. This shows us how important it is for Muslims to maintain their cleanliness, even if they have long hair or are in a state of sexual impurity. It also teaches us about following in the footsteps of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). We should strive to emulate him by maintaining our own personal hygiene as well as striving for spiritual purity through prayer and good deeds.
