EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's practice of wiping over his leather socks during ablution while on a journey. It is narrated by Anas bin Malik, who was with the Prophet on this journey. This hadith teaches us that it is permissible to wipe over one's leather socks during ablution when travelling, as long as they are not taken off or removed from the feet. It also teaches us that it is important to lead by example, as the Prophet himself demonstrated this practice for others to follow. Furthermore, it shows us how important prayer is even when travelling; despite being tired from a long journey, he still took time out of his day to lead others in prayer and set an example for them to follow.
