Sunan Ibn Majah 528 (Book 1, Hadith 262) #29880
Patience and Kindness in the Mosque

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught people to be patient and not to interrupt someone who is doing something wrong. He also showed kindness by pouring water over the urine in the mosque.

It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that: A Bedouin urinated in the mosque, and some of the people rushed at him. The Messenger of Allah said: "Do not interrupt him". Then he called for a bucket of water and poured it over (the urine).

QUICK LESSONS:
Be patient with others even if they are doing something wrong; Show kindness whenever possible; Think before you act or speak; Avoid causing harm or distress to others

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us about patience and kindness, two important values that are essential for living a good life. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was teaching his followers how to behave when they saw someone doing something wrong. Instead of rushing at him, he told them not to interrupt him and instead poured water over the urine in the mosque as an act of kindness. This teaches us that we should always be patient with others, even if they are doing something wrong, and show them kindness whenever possible. We should also remember that our actions have consequences, so it is important to think before we act or speak so that we can avoid causing harm or distress to others.
