Check for purity before consuming any liquid or food item
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith explains that water found in the wilderness which is frequented by beasts and predators can be considered pure if it reaches two qullah. A qullah is a measure of volume used during the time of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. It was narrated from 'Ubaidullah bin 'Abdullah bin 'Umar that his father said he heard the Messenger of Allah being asked about water in the wilderness that is frequented by beasts and predators. The Messenger of Allah said “If the water reaches two qullas then nothing can make it impure” meaning it will remain pure even if animals drink from it or other things happen to contaminate it. This hadith teaches us to be mindful when drinking water from unknown sources as we should always check for purity before consuming any liquid or food item.
