The Prophet's Practice of Rinsing His Mouth After Drinking Milk

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad drank milk from a sheep and then rinsed his mouth with water afterwards.

It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said: "The Messenger of Allah milked a sheep and drank some of its milk, then he called for water and rinsed his mouth and said: 'It has some greasiness in it'."
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ السَّوَّاقُ، حَدَّثَنَا الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا زَمْعَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ حَلَبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ ـ شَاةً وَشَرِبَ مِنْ لَبَنِهَا ثُمَّ دَعَا بِمَاءٍ فَمَضْمَضَ فَاهُ وَقَالَ ‏ "‏ إِنَّ لَهُ دَسَمًا
