QUICK LESSONS:
Avoid committing sins

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Jabir bin 'Abdullah states that the Messenger of Allah warned against sinning and its consequences. He said, “Woe to the Achilles tendon because of Hell-fire”, which is a metaphor for how severe and painful the punishment in hell will be. This hadith serves as a reminder to us all that we should strive to stay away from sins as much as possible, for it will lead us to an unbearable punishment in hell. We should also remember that Allah is All-Knowing and All-Seeing; He knows our every action and thought, so we must always be mindful of our deeds.
