EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith highlights the importance of cleanliness and ablution in Islam. It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas, from Maimunah the wife of the Prophet, that he performed ablution with water left over after she had taken a bath to cleanse herself from sexual impurity. This shows that even though it is permissible for Muslims to perform ablutions with leftover water, it is important for them to maintain their personal hygiene and take regular baths when needed. Furthermore, this hadith also emphasizes on modesty as it does not mention any details about Maimunah's state of purity or her bathing process.
