QUICK LESSONS:
Respect religious places and be mindful of your direction while praying .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about prayer and direction. It was narrated by Abu Ayyub Ansari that the Messenger of Allah forbade people from facing the Qiblah when going to the Gha'it. The Prophet Muhammad instructed them to face either east or west instead. This hadith teaches us that we should be mindful of our direction when praying and not just focus on where we are standing but also which way we are facing. We should always make sure that our prayers are directed towards Mecca in order for them to be accepted by Allah. Additionally, this hadith also teaches us about respect for religious places as it is important not to disrespect any place of worship by turning away from it while praying or performing any other religious activity there.
