Protection from Jinn through Bismillah

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad taught that saying Bismillah (in the name of Allah) when entering a Kanif is a protection from the Jinn.

It was narrated that 'Ali said: "The Messenger of Allah said: 'The screen between the Jinn and the nakedness of the sons of Adam is that when a person enters the Kanif, he should say: Bismillah (in the name of Allah)'."

QUICK LESSONS:
Remembering Allah and seeking His protection in all aspects of life ; Being mindful of one's actions and words at all times .

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad taught that saying "Bismillah" in the name of Allah when entering a Kanif is an important protection against the Jinn. A Kanif is an enclosed space, such as a room or tent, and it was believed by some people that this was where jinn could enter and cause harm to humans. By saying "Bismillah" before entering such spaces, one can protect themselves from any potential harm caused by jinn. This hadith also teaches us to always remember Allah and seek His protection in all aspects of our lives, no matter how small or insignificant they may seem. It reminds us to be mindful of our actions and words at all times, as we never know what unseen forces may be around us.
