EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the rewards of performing ablution and going to the mosque for prayer. It was narrated by Abu Hurairah that Prophet Muhammad said that when someone performs ablution properly and goes to the mosque with no other purpose than prayer, Allah will raise him one degree in status with each step he takes towards the mosque until he enters it. This means that Allah will reward him with a higher rank in Jannah as well as forgive one sin from his record. This hadith encourages us to perform ablution before praying in order to receive these rewards from Allah. It also teaches us how important it is for Muslims to go regularly attend their prayers at mosques so they can be rewarded by Allah.
