EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Safinah tells us about the practice of ablution and bathing of the Prophet Muhammad. Ablution is an Islamic ritual that involves washing certain parts of the body in order to purify oneself before prayer or other religious activities. It is done using a specific amount of water known as a mudd, which is equivalent to two handfuls or four cups. Bathing, on the other hand, requires more water than ablution and it is done using a sa', which is equivalent to four mudds or eight cups. This hadith teaches us that we should follow in the footsteps of our beloved prophet by performing these rituals with proper measurements as prescribed by Islam.
