Obeying Allah and His Messenger

SUMMARY: This hadith is about the importance of obeying Allah and His Messenger.

Narrated 'Abdullah bin Dinar: similar to Shu'bah (#3948) and he added: "And Usaiya has disobeyed Allah and His Messenger".
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ شُعْبَةَ وَزَادَ فِيهِ ‏ "‏ وَعُصَيَّةُ عَصَتِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ

This hadith emphasizes the importance of obedience to Allah and His Messenger. It was narrated by Abdullah bin Dinar, Shu'bah, and Usaiya. The hadith mentions that Usaiya has disobeyed Allah and His Messenger which shows that disobedience is not acceptable in Islam.
